It has two night vision modes: colour night mode with headlight and IR detection mode. The headlight provides lighting in dark environments and is suitable for outdoor colour image shooting at night. HomeKit limits resolution to 1080p. When the device is connected to both Apple and Aqara Home, the resolution of the G100 in Aqara Home is also limited to 1080p, but returns to 1296p when disconnected from HomeKit.) The G100 has one of the best third-party ecosystems on the market and can stream to Google, Alexa-compatible smart displays and even Home Assistant via the RTSP protocol.
- Flexible storage options: Use a MicroSD card (up to 512GB, not included) or a NAS for 24/7 recordings. Time-lapse mode compresses 24 hours of footage into 15-second clips (wired connection and microSD card required). After subscribing to HomeGuardian (or a 30-day trial), detected events are automatically stored in the cloud with end-to-end encryption to prevent data theft and protect your home's privacy.
